Brother Richard began serving First Baptist in 2003.  First Baptist Perryton is the fourth pastorate for him.  He has followed God's calling as pastor for almost thirty years.  His first pastorate was in the Permian area of Midkiff, Texas.  Moving north to First Baptist Gail, Texas and then to the Texas/New Mexico state line of First Baptist Church of Farwell, Texas.  He and his wife Karen have enjoyed the churches that God has placed them in and are currently loving the people and community of First Baptist Church of Perryton.  Richard and Karen have three grown children, 2 granddaughters and a grandson.
