sunday school
Sunday school is a cornerstone in the lives of our church family. Our desire is that through Sunday school you will develop relationships that will encourage you into a deeper walk with Christ. The time is spend in the study of God's word, prayer, and fellowship together as a body of believers. Sunday school classes are organized by age, grade and common interest but we want adults to go where their needs are being met and are encouraged.

family discipleship & worship
Our Sunday night Family Discipleship classes are a new feature our church has started this past year. Each semester our church will offer two to three different relevant studies that our adults can choose from that will nurture their overall spiritual maturity in Christ. During this same time there are youth and children activities and studies that are available. Each week these studies will begin with a brief time of corporate worship with the entire body and then break up into the smaller studies for the remainder of the time. Once a month on Sunday nights, our church will have a special Family Worship time which will usually focus on the different missional opportunities our church is involved with.
Women's ministry
The Women's Ministry of First Baptist Church Perryton exists to help all women grow in knowledge of Christ and His mission for their lives and draw closer to Him and to each other. Our Women's Ministry exists for all women and includes Women on Mission (Open Hearts), which meets the first Tuesday of each month of the school year at noon in the Fellowship Hall with lunch and childcare provided, and a Women's Bible study, which meets the second, third, fourth and fifth Tuesday's at noon in the CAR Room (children's basement), with childcare provided. Our Single Mom's Ministry meets on Sunday for Sunday School in room N103 and Wednesday evenings for SEEDS in the Parlor.
men's ministry
The Men's Ministry in our church provides opportunities for men to grow together in their understanding and application of God's Word as it pertains to their daily lives. The men of our church meet regularly twice a week. Tuesday lunch is an open fellowship opportunity. Friday breakfast is a Bible study where the men gather to discuss God's Word through different studies. Fries and Guys is an occasional fellowship for men in our church to come together to pray, talk about life issues, and fellowship.
Marriage ministry
Marriage Ministry is a growing need in our society today, and our church has been very intentional in working to strengthen marriages in our church family. The church has been very active in marriage conferences, promoting and attending marriage retreats on a yearly basis for over fifteen years. At least every other year, our church offers a marriage class on a week night during the fall or spring semester that provides marriage enrichment opportunities in a couple's relationship.
mentoring
Mentoring has been a large part of our church for over ten years. Mentoring is a relational ministry where Christians share life with each other because of the connection Christians have in Christ. It enables the individual to discover his or her potential in Christ through relationships in the church. It is the hope of our church that mentoring can help breakdown generational lines by creating an extended family within the church.
